I am so excited with the progress my husband has made with his colon cancer.  As you might remember, he almost died this past April from chemotherapy without acupuncture and herbal treatments and now he is almost cancer free!!  He (hopefully) had his last chemo this past week (Dec. 2011) and they kept out the drug (Oxaliplatin) which causes terrible cold sensations of the mouth, hands, feet, and gut.

His cancer doctor said that it was the drug that helps the cancer cells not replicate with more cancer cells.  I told him that I do the same thing with Reishi mushrooms.   Reishis powerfully strengthen the immune system, and are safe with no side effects.  They are saturated with polysaccharides that have anti-cancer and anti-tumor properties.  They also have anti-aging properties, as well as the ability to promote calmness, centeredness, balance, and inner awareness.  They have been known to replicate only the original DNA, not mutant cells. Cordyceps is another amazing herb that increases the fluids lost to chemotherapy.  Together these are wonderful herbs to aid in cancer therapy.

We went on our 18th anniversary this week to the Biltmore Hotel, which could have been problematic with the full chemo treatment,  but due to our adjustments, we had a fabulous time.  His health is doing great and his tumors are practically gone.  The use of complimentary modalities that both strip the body of illness while also building the immune system up have worked wonders, even leaving his Cancer doctors impressed!
